PROFILE
Peacock TV is a streaming service owned and operated by NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast. Launched in July 2020, Peacock TV provides a platform for viewers to access a wide range of content from the NBCUniversal library, including popular TV shows, movies, news, live sports, and original programming.
Peacock TV offers three subscription tiers to cater to different viewing preferences and budgets:
- Peacock Free: The ad-supported, entry-level tier that gives users access to a selection of NBCUniversal content, including popular shows like The Office, 30 Rock, and Friday Night Lights, as well as daily news, sports programming, kids content, and Spanish-language shows from Telemundo.
- Peacock Premium: Priced at $4.99 per month or $49.99 annually, this tier offers all the content from the free tier plus exclusive programming, Peacock Originals, next-day viewing for current NBC shows, live sports, and live events such as WWE and Sunday Night Football. However, Peacock Premium is still ad-supported.
- Peacock Premium Plus: For $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually, subscribers get an ad-free experience (with some exceptions for select titles and live sports programming), access to all content available in the Premium tier, and the ability to download select movies and shows for offline viewing on mobile devices.
Peacock TV is available on various devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, game consoles like PlayStation, and personal computers.
